Market House, Harlow
Office-to-Residential Conversion
Project Overview
Market House in Harlow has been redeveloped from a former office building into 30 contemporary residential apartments. The project required a sensitive and coordinated design approach due to the building’s protected façade, with the local authority placing strict requirements on preserving its external character. The redevelopment successfully revitalises an existing town-centre property, providing high-quality, energy-efficient homes while respecting the building’s architectural heritage.
Our Role
TBK Projects was appointed to deliver the full Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) design up to RIBA Stage 4, ensuring complete integration and coordination with architectural and structural elements. Our team also managed the utility applications for new electrical, water, and gas connections, ensuring timely approvals and alignment with the design programme. Close collaboration with the wider design team enabled the delivery of efficient and practical solutions that met both planning and technical requirements.
Key Services Provided
